1. About us

Psych Industries (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2021/735894/07, provides counselling, coaching, workplace wellbeing and related organisational services through appropriately selected professionals.

2. Website information

Website content is provided for general information and does not replace an individual assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan or emergency support. The availability and suitability of a service are confirmed through our booking and matching process.

3. Counselling and coaching

Counselling and coaching are distinct services. Counselling is provided within the practitioner’s registered scope of practice. Coaching is developmental and goal focused and is not a substitute for regulated mental health treatment. We may recommend another service or provider where this better fits your needs.

4. Bookings and confirmation

• You must provide accurate contact, service and scheduling information.
• A submitted booking request and payment do not by themselves confirm a specific appointment time.
• Your appointment is confirmed when Psych Industries or the practitioner accepts one of the requested times and sends confirmation.
• If none of the requested times can be accommodated, we will offer alternatives or arrange a refund.
• Practitioner preferences are considered but remain subject to availability, scope and appropriate matching.

5. Fees and payment

Fees are displayed in South African rand unless stated otherwise. Payment is collected by Psych Industries through an approved payment provider. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Psych Industries. The applicable fee and service details are shown before checkout.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations, missed sessions, rescheduling and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. By booking, you agree to that policy.

7. Online sessions

You are responsible for a suitable device, reliable connection and a private, safe environment for online sessions. Psych Industries and its practitioners are not responsible for interruptions caused by your equipment or connection, although reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule where appropriate.

8. Clients under 18

A booking for a person under 18 must be made or authorised by a parent or legal guardian and is subject to the practitioner’s scope, consent requirements and professional obligations.

9. Confidentiality

Practitioners maintain confidentiality in line with applicable law and professional standards. Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required by law, where there is a serious risk of harm, where safeguarding duties apply, or where you have authorised disclosure.

10. Respectful use

You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, impersonate another person, submit unlawful content, or behave abusively toward practitioners, staff or other participants. We may suspend access or decline a service where necessary for safety, legal compliance or professional integrity.

11. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website, brand, written material, graphics and resources are owned by or licensed to Psych Industries. They may not be copied, republished or used commercially without written permission.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Psych Industries is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

13. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms when our services or legal obligations change. The latest version will appear on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
